    Check-in / Check-out procedures and policies

    It is mandatory to communicate your arrival time (whatsapp or call): +39 3274235052

    Reception hours: 10:00 – 12:00 / 16:00 – 19:00

    Check-in: 16.00 -19.00 (we have an automated access system, so if documents and overnight payment are sent in time, you can access the structure without waiting for check-in time)

    Check-out: by 10.00 (at the time of check-out it is necessary to completely vacate the bed and locker, otherwise it will be considered late check-out)

    Check-out out of hours: check-out out of hours must be requested in advance and carries a supplement of 10 euros until 2pm, 20 euros after 2pm

    Luggage storage: it is possible to leave your luggage in the structure free of charge on the day of check out, guests can collect their luggage in the afternoon reception hours (16:00-19:00)

    GENERAL INFORMATIONS

    When to come and when to go

    Your room will be ready at 14.00. From 10.00 we can welcome you for luggage storage, your luggage is safe here, you will come back when your room is ready. It is very important to specify your arrival time in the city in the booking, we will try to accommodate you. It is possible to leave the hostel early in the morning (for example at 4:00 AM), making sure not to disturb other guests. The latest check out is at 10:00 AM.

    Late Check-in option

    If you travel at night and arrive at any time after 19.00, you must arrange an automatic check-in with us via email or telephone. It is possible to access the structure at any time thanks to the automated access system, only and exclusively upon advance payment and sending data for online check-in. Special requests for check-in after hours in person require an additional cost of 15 euros, if not previously agreed by the structure.

    EXTRA:

    Breakfast

    Breakfast is served on request in our living room in personal and single portions. Our breakfast costs €3.50 per person, you can request it at the time of booking or upon your arrival at the reception desk. It is a simple and sweet breakfast (milk, fruit juice, biscuits, rusks, jam and hazelnut cream) useful for those who have to go out in a hurry in the morning. You will find the breakfast bag with your name and bed/room number indicated early in the morning in the kitchen.

    Coffee, tea, herbal teas and sugar are always available in the kitchen for free.

    Sheets & towels

    Sheets and blankets are included in all rooms. We rent a set of three towels for € 3 (face, shower, guest) if you need it, it is preferable to request it in advance, payment takes place in the structure. An extra 5 euros will be added to requests made at the last minute or after 8pm (towels, breakfast, padlocks).

    Lockers and security

    The dormitories are equipped with lockers. Each bed has a number that corresponds to the number of your bed. You can bring your own personal padlock or ask for one at the time of booking, in the latter case you will have to pay a deposit of 2 euros which will be returned to you if you return the padlock and key intact at your check out (10 am).

    Keys

    If you are unable to use the virtual key to access the structure, we can provide you with the physical keys, subject to a deposit of 5 euros which will be returned to you at check out if you return the keys

    Car & bicycle parking

    The outdoor parking is public and subject to charges (1 euro per hour from 8.30 to 20.30). We have an agreement with a private and monitored car park, you can ask the receptionist, also on whatsapp, for contact details and costs. If you travel by bike, by prior arrangement with the receptionist, you can take your bike with you and keep it on the balcony of the building for free. It is strictly forbidden to park bicycles or any other vehicle in the atrium of the building where the hostel is located.

    Rates

    Our rates include VAT and other taxes. Based on the regulation of the platform from which you book, it will be possible or not to cancel your reservation for free within 72 hours of arrival, if you have booked on platforms such as Booking, Airbnb, Hostelworld, we will NOT be able to cancel the reservation for you in any way and refund you since the booking is not managed by us but by the individual platforms. For cancellations of reservations from our site or by telephone, the same cancellation policy will apply. Upon arrival or booking we will also ask you for your tax code, we are an ethical and responsible hostel and we issue an invoice for each overnight stay, only for this we need your data.

    Wifi

    The Wi-Fi connection is fast and free, it is possible to use it for work and for a long time from your room or using one of the tables in our living room.

    Animals

    Pets (maximum 2) are welcome ONLY in the Africa private room, with a supplement of € 15 per night for room cleaning. Write to us or call us so we can make arrangements with you.

    Food and beverages

    Food and drinks can be consumed in the kitchen and in the common area, it is strictly forbidden to consume food and drink in the dormitories. If you have provisions, keep them in the kitchen, you can use them whenever you want, in respect of the other guests, if you have to leave and you haven’t consumed everything, you can leave them in the “free food” section, we don’t like creating waste with food, this way some guests after you will be able to consume it, please indicate the date of your overnight stay by applying it to your shopping with the post-it notes you find next to the fridge. You will find basic utensils and ingredients at your disposal. After cooking, we ask you to tidy up the space, leave it as you would like it to be and leave the dishes clean for those who will use them after you!

    Smoke

    Use your room for relaxing, sleeping, reading, but not for smoking. If you smoke in your room we will charge you a fine of €100. You can smoke without problems on the balcony where you will find specific stations.

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS

    Responsibility

    We only reimburse damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence on the part of our staff. Liability is limited to the maximum amount of the total cost of the stay. We are not responsible for consequential damages (for example, if you miss your train in time). In the event that you or your guests cause damage to anything in the hostel you will be held liable. For any small damage, we may choose to charge a minimum of €100. If the damage caused requires compensation, you will be promptly notified by our staff. We are not responsible for the loss and/or theft of objects if left unattended and not stored in lockers with a special padlock or left in the care of the facility staff.

    Departure time

    On the day of departure, the rooms must be vacated no later than 10:00. If the room is not vacated after this time, the structure has the right to charge €10 until 2.00 pm, and 100% of the following night’s price after 2.00 pm. Luggage will be removed from the room and placed in storage. Habari is not responsible for any loss or damage.

    Extremely dirty room

    In case the vacated rooms are found extremely dirty we charge €50 for extra cleaning.

    Flexible rate cancellation

    This rate allows you to modify or cancel your reservation for free. You can do it from the booking platform or by sending an email if the booking was made on our site. Modification or cancellation is possible up to 72 hours before the day of arrival.

    No show

    If you don’t show up, without notifying us in advance, we will charge your account for the full cost of the reservation and cancel the reservation.

    Payment and guarantees

    We accept Visa or Mastercard credit cards and cash. If you book from our website or by telephone, we ask you to make a bank transfer of 30% of the total amount as a guarantee of your reservation, in case you want to pay at the facility. In case of no-show and non-cancellation within 72 hours, that amount will be retained as a refund.

    Reimbursement

    When you cancel your booking you will be refunded using the same payment method used to make the booking. If you book from the most well-known platforms, the refund and cancellation are managed directly by them. The guest will have to interface directly with the platform’s customer service.

    Groups

    Contact Habari directly to make a group reservation of more than 6 people. We may apply particular cancellation conditions, and we reserve the right to cancel without refund any reservation made without first having agreed on the accommodation arrangements and finalized the payment.

    Harassment and unwanted behavior

    Habari reserves the right to immediately expel people who cause harassment and/or offensive or discriminatory behavior towards other guests and/or employees of the hostel. If we deem it necessary, the group to which those causing the harassment belong can also be expelled, regardless of whether only some people have caused harassment within that group. In the event of expulsion, the guest or group has no right to compensation, and will have to pay the full amount of the stay.

    Habari is located in a condominium, it is strictly forbidden to leave waste and/or objects in the lift, in the hall and in the stairwell. It is strictly forbidden to park bicycles in the entrance hall.

    Causes of force majeure

    Causes of force majeure that cannot be attributed to Habari, which are of such a nature as not to allow the fulfillment of contractual obligations (such as, but not limited to, extreme weather conditions, revocation of one or more permits, epidemics and pandemics and government measures issued in this regard) give Habari the right to withdraw from the contract in whole or in part and/or to suspend the contracts in place without any obligation to pay damages. In this case, the staff reserves the right to be compensated for the damage (including, by way of example but not limited to, the amount of the reservation). We advise clients and guests of the hostel to be insured against these risks. Compensation requests from customers/guests for suspension of the service or contract due to force majeure will not be considered. The above does not affect the cancellation conditions.

    You don't have permission to register
